Notes: There is a huge rectangular port at the bottom. This model can be confusing to some as it is available in both an 8ohm and a 16ohm version and there are 3-4 different id tags. The 8ohm version has all 8ohm drivers while the 16ohm version has an 8ohm mid-range driver and 16ohm tweeter and woofer. (For reference the pair I have in the pic are mismatched, one is the 8ohm version while the other is the 16ohm version! (If you look closely the Pioneer badges are in slightly different places.))

Can anyone tell me what the woofer surrounds are made of on the CS-A31's? Also, what is the correct output on these? Sure wish I could find some info on these babies, picked up a near mint set the other day for $40.....
