Here's my system. Aiwa CX-NA888 AM/FM/CD/2 cassette decks, auto reverse, 4-amplifier surround sound using only two speakers (both with powered subwoofers). 240 watts total output.
My favorite types of music to listen to are 1960s-1970s oldies, some older folk music, and easy listening. I have all three kinds of music on cassettes and CDs, but I also like listening to two FM stations from Cleveland that specialize in classic rock and oldies (and also an AM station near my former home town that plays all oldies as well). I can get all three kinds of music and more as well on Comcast digital cable's Music Choice service.
I had a Zenith stereo with 8-track, but gave it up and bought this one when I moved to my present apartment almost four years ago. My old system was too big for this place, and besides, 8-tracks are out of date. Have to keep up with the times, you know. I loved listening to 8-tracks when I was growing up in the '70s, but that was then; this is now. I threw out every one of my 8-tracks when I moved here (just as well, I guess, since I didn't have my 8-track deck anymore).
Thannks for stopping by and looking/reading. See you all later, in the forums.
