I wasn't being flippant- it's one of my favorite words! I was just looking at one of my Luxman components the other day that says "Ultimate High Fidelity Stereo Component" on the face- a statement which could easily be considered to be "of dubious origin", so your use of the word in reference to the Pioneer piece hammered it home resulting in cracking me up!

Apocryphal? Really? LOL I can't believe I'm still subscribed after 8 years!
