If I remember right, I saw them open for Kansas at the Nassau Colosseum sometime in the late 70's.

Honorable mention the two SRV and Double Trouble performances at Austin City Limits.

Man I can't pick a final top ten and keep from remembering another...

Like live albums especially if we saw the show the album is from.

I was going to say the Allman Bros and Peter Frampton to. I saw the Allmans live in Vancouver, 1973, and Frampton in Toronto, 1976. Both of these shows were outstanding!

I just watched a recording of Roy Orbison's live 1987 'Black and White' show in L.A. the other night and can never get enough of it. When my late mother saw it years ago, she couldn't get over how handsome the guitarist standing behind Roy was. That guitarist was a young Bruce Springsteen.
