Shure IV test disc find.

Picked up with a few albums at a thrift today. My first Era IV test disc. Have had several of the earlier pressings. Even had a Shure flyer with it.

What DISCOGS tells us...

Evidently, pristine copies have sold for $25 or more, but that overlooks the many who would never be prepared to release their copy...

So, like all things DISCOGS - may be worth much more.

One of the best test records. The tonearm resonance is very useful for achieving good bass response, with minimal rumble issues. Making the tonearm mass match the cartridge.

I also have this one. I think it is great for testing my cartridge/tonearm/turntable. The resonance test is interesting for shure.
