Can I use a Shure V15 Type IV stylus in a V15 Type III cartridge body?

If I recall correctly none of the V15 styli regardless of series were interchangeable. I have an original V15 , III and IV.

One distinctive difference between each generation of the V15 is the shape and dimensions of the Pole Pieces and Stylus Brass Housing. This means that the styli are not interchangeable from one generation to the next. They do not provide a proper fit, or alignment, between the Magnet and Pole Pieces.

Can I use a Shure V15 Type IV stylus in a V15 Type III cartridge body? yes ive done it for years aftermarket swiss maid and the sound is excellent. factory shure stylus will not fit not the same. and so 3 into 4 4 into 3 its same. swiss only. and no im not some rookie .dont knock it until you tried it /?
 
To confirm, III will fit in a IV body. No problem with fit, nor sonics. Using a VN35E with the IV and I like it more then the NV45MR that I have.
 
I just purchased a v15 iv with a new looking MR stylus. The cartridge is open in the right channel. Can I use this stylus in a type iii body? Thank you
