    I've also a black one with a defective Stereo-IC. Beside a SR-704 having the same problem...

    Could you explain how to fix this problem? My SR-904 will not play stereo and results with bad sound coming out of left speaker.
    Speaker ok. Something wrong with receiver.

    Hi - I have seen a lot of your posts so I thought you might have an answer. I recently bought a Sansui 800. Everything works (except some bulbs are out) but there is some scratchiness, which I hope will go away when I clean it with Deoxit. My question is, do you think it will also get louder? It seems decently loud, but I expected a little more power. Thanks,
