nice piece, but at that price I could build one like it out of solid teak, and have cash leftover to buy something pretty to put in it....
 
Sure doesnt' look like Teak. In this area, if it was teak, or maybe walnut, fair chance it would be priced around $1000 to $1200... Nice, but at that price it better be perfect for me..
 
Stylistically, that would go really well in a room with a JBL Paragon, holding the gear that would drive the Paragon. Although no doubt it will go in and out of "high fashion", the world follows unified trends less and less these days, and Danish modern stuff seems to hold its value well, regardless, so even at that price it's probably a "safe" enough investment over the long haul.
