Ok I found myself even mentioning this thing recently, but seem to have

forgotten whether it is used on the Meter to amp section of the DA series

or the preamp to pwr amp?

That controls the speaker relays in the power amp. If you have the DA-A7DC or similar amp, there is a speaker A-B-OFF switch on the back. If you set it to OFF, and plug the cable between the AMP and the preamp or meter (if you have it), you can control the speaker selection from the pre-amp or meters.

Terry that clears that up, I never did have any of the gear but did have a

DR-720 rack, it for some reason came with it. Rack is long gone.

And welcome to AK Terry!

as far as making the connector if I figured I could cast it in epoxy shouldn't be hard to match the pin diameter my sons pretty good with the lathe or I might just find the right diameter laying around.takingg the easy way out I could color code them individually and just plug the three in individually.havnt seen the cable on e bay in along time always looking though.......

Not sure how a repost of an old thread started but was linking a pic in the companion Mitsubishi thread.
