Hi everyone, I just thought I would share some pictures of my newly acquired Mitsubishi DA-x15 serie separates :
Last one, with the specs written on the power amp : (link only because it's bigger)
http://freekill.free.fr/brols/mitsubishi/mitsubishi-4.jpg
System description :
Preamp : Mitsubishi DA-P15
Power amp : Mitsubishi DA-A15DC
Power level meter : Mitsubishi DA-M15 (can be screwed in front of the power amp, as shown, or placed in a rack separately)
Tuner : Mitsubishi DA-F15
Impressions so far are positive on the sound amplification. :tresbon:
One of the VU meters on the DA-M15 is "lazy", and sometimes it stops moving. It can be forced to move briefly with a short "burst" of volume, but I have to power cycle the unit a few time to get it back functioning normally (bad solder point ? dying cap ?)
The previous owner replaced the lamps with some flat blue leds. I'm not sure I like them, so maybe I'll try to restore the original lamps if I can get some info and schematics. (the sockets were completely removed)
The DA-F15 tuner has not impressed me so far. I actually enjoy the sound of my Sansui TU-217 more, it has more punch and life. Furthermore it needs to be recalibrated.
Any questions ?
