Received mine this afternoon. Bought from 6th Ave. at $78 on 05/31. Took five days to get here.

RCA direct to McIntosh MA 6600 -DVD
Digital Coax to DAC to MA 6600 - CD2
The unit outputs the two simultaneously, perhaps Toslink and HDMI as well but I am only testing the two right now.
Playing redbook CD, sounds pretty good, the intention is to use it as a transporter running through a DAC. I think there is a pure analog mode that shuts down everything else, even the display to make it quieter.
Can't say much about it as I just received it.

Denon does a nice job of using Direct and Pure Direct modes on their equipment to eliminate any interference from video. Not sure if I can hear the difference but I always use Direct mode on my 3808 AVR in my HT and on my DVD-2900 in my stereo system.
