Oh crap, I didn't even notice the amp. Looks like a Fisher X-100 (or maybe early X-1000). Nice little KLH tuner there too, I think.
Yep in a wood case too, should email him and see if that old ugly amp is for sale too

I bought my Eico HF-81 from the owner of these speakers, and heard them. They're nice Watterson speakers, although not my cup of tea as I prefer horns.
The amp is the original Fisher X100 in pristine condition. The tuner is a KLH. He wanted to sell one of his vintage amps and keep the other, so he sold the Eico and kept the Fisher.
We spoke for a long time, he demoed his main system as well. His main system consists of a Winsome Mouse amplifier, DIY open-baffle speakers (15" woofers, 8" Goldwood full-range and piezo tweeters) and an upgraded Sony CD player. The whole thing sounds incredible, which is making me rethink my tube amplifier setup. His listening room setup gave me a few thoughts as well. It was a productive trip, I'm building a Tripath amplifier as we speak.
