Ok, so the guy in NY pulls pics from a guy in Arizona and tries to rip off someone?:thumbsdn:

I want to send the guy an e-mail telling him to "f&*k off".

I'm such a newbie at this stuff! I still can't believe there really are people like that out there!:sigh:

I acutually had a guy here steal pics from another auction to use on CL.When I asked him about it,he said he didnt have a camera and wanted to have a pic of what the item was.I turned out buying the G8000 from him.Id contact the guy first before calling it a fraud.Maybe there is an explanation.

And maybe sending them your email address would be a really bad idea. They also stole the description and have it listed for less than half of the auction's opening bid. You'd have to really want to get rid of your stuff to look up something on ebay to steal the pics and then undervalue it by $1000.

Moot point anyway because it's been removed from CL.

2Duals - your point is well taken, however - we shouldn't necessarily assume the worst about everybody. But this case pointed a little too strongly to scam. And with internet fraud you can't really be too safe...IMO....
