Ok its done well the first half is done anyway.. Started this a few weeks ago and just got around to finishing it up this weekend..

One more to go and ill have stereo...

The circuit is a modded boozehound labs..

Its a 6j5 driving a triode strapped 6v6 SE.... 5v4g rec.. dead silent circuit

What does the little blue switch(?) do that's in the upper right corner of the underside shot?

Very nice wiring job. Meticulous.

The little blue switch lifts the high voltage center tap putting the amp into standby mode..

Neat work, but the orange cap is way too close to that big WW cathode bias resistor. Heat kills lytics.

Please keep the comments coming. That wirewound resistor doesnt even get warm the voltages are kinda low in this amp.
Started the build of amp #2 afterwork yesterday about halfway done will post pics soon...

J, did you safety wire pliers for the wiring work? Either way, first class.

I use a drill and do about 8 feet at a time.. I put one end in a vice and keep it pulled very tight while twisting it..
