    Hello, I bought an Akai GX 400d ss not too long ago. The unit was missing a knob, and right tension lever arm. I replaced the tension arm with the closest Akai reel match I could find, and it sounded great for some time. The issue I have now is that when I turn on the unit, I get tons of static...

    Akai 400D-SS tension arm - help

    Hi, I have an Akai 400D-SS with broken tension arm, right side. I mean, the tension arm is there, but I can't feel the spring. What can I do? I was reading here somewhere, can't find it, someone who repaired one with this problem. If you could give me an advice would be great ! Thank you.
