    Recommend a Tonearm (new) upgrade from Basik LVX on Linn LP12 Valhala circa 1982

    I have a Linn LP12 from 1982-3. With Valhala power supply. Recapped along the way.. Came with Basik LVX arm. The que damping doesn't work. And set screw for access has damaged socket. So have not attempted to remove set screw, to replenish silicone fluid. Other than this issue, arm is...

    Cue Damping Gone, on Linn Basik LVX tonearm. Repaired successfully!

    Linn Basik LVX tonearm (made in Japan) cue drop has no damping. Any experience with cue damping on this arm, or similar cue design? I belive Basik LVX Pluss ans ADC Alt-1 tonearms use same cue. I've not worked on a similar cue. Is there a cylinder to apply silicone to, or just to shaft? With...
