    Wife gave me a Bryston BDA-1 for my birthday

    It's my first standalone DAC other than one of those little MUSE boxes from a few years back. We never spend "real money" on audio, so it's a bit of a departure for us. Still a lot less expensive than the current models. Now we've spent like five solid days listening to our old redbook discs...
