It's my first standalone DAC other than one of those little MUSE boxes from a few years back. We never spend "real money" on audio, so it's a bit of a departure for us. Still a lot less expensive than the current models.



Now we've spent like five solid days listening to our old redbook discs and enjoying the stuffing out of 'em. At the moment it's Jim Hall's "Dialogues" (Telarc CD-83369).
