    Here, a GE b-w console from 1955. This one needed the works...new CRT, almost all new caps, some new tubes (some tubes were actually burned out, which is rare). The sound is incredible...real good bass and also highs. The later tube type sets seemed to skimp on the sound quality. What's unusual...
