    Modern Brimar tubes

    A simple search on Google shows up the UK Brimar website selling modern Brimar tubes. I know vintage Brimar 12au7 is a good alternative to Millard and maybe Telefunken ones, but what about modern Brimars? Do modern Brimar tubes live up to their glories in the past?

    I have these 1940 "Brimar" 6N7. Brimar were also known to rebrand tubes, and as these say "Made in USA" I'm wondering which US manufacturer made these? Maybe Sylvania?

    Audio Stores in Great Britain?

    I have a buddy thats going to visit family in GB, he was wondering if there are any audiophile stores he could visit while there. Are there any places there you could go and buy vintage Mullard or Brimar tubes? Thanks!
