    JBL C38s and amplifiers.

    I’ve recently inherited my dad’s C38s that he has coveted and enjoyed the last 50 years and we occasionally talked about buying a tube amp. I’ve been reading about Icon amps and would entertain any suggestions or discussion on the subject. Thanks

    JBL D130 full range?

    Has anyone used their JBL D130’s full range no dividing network in C38 cabinets? How did they sound?

    Can anyone identify these vintage JBLs?

    These guys have the same driver complement and crossover, D130/075/N2600 as was typical of C38 Barons. They are about the same size, but the cabinet is clearly different. Ironically, these cabinets seem to be a bit better build quality too. It's our guess they were either ground up custom...
