    Heathkit C-3 Capacitor checker vs. later models (IT-11, IT-28)

    Does anyone have experience rebuilding and/or using the Heathkit C-3 Condenser (capacitor) Checker? They can be had all day for well under a hundred bucks (much unlike the later IT-11 & IT-28). The leakage test side on the C-3 appears to go up to 450V. Wondering if a rebuilt and calibrated C-3...
