cracked transistor cases

    TO-220's cracked/split casing

    Hi, just thought l would post this as l haven't come across it before and curious as to whether anyone else has seen it happen. The transistors are original Hitachi 2SC1061's in a little Pioneer. BTW none of them were shorted but a couple were showing unusual B-E junction measurements. Cheers.
