    I ruined some nice knobs! Anybody know how to resurrect them?

    I ruined some nice knobs! Does anyone have any experience repairing knobs? These are solid metal except for a plastic insert in some. I put them in a mix of Windex and Detergent to soak briefly and then forgot about them for a month. When I found them I scrubbed with a toothbrush. I tried some...
