    Foam or Rubber surround replacement? Opinion Corner ...

    I've set myself up with both foam and butyl rubber replacement surrounds for a pair of Speakerlab DAS2 5 1/4" woofers that came to me with deteriorated foam. Anybody want to take a guess on whether the butyl rubber surround would be a reasonable candidate for installation? I haven't ever had...
