    I am interested in better understanding DC power supplies used in receivers/amplifiers. What are some approaches to characterizing DC supplies used for audio equipment, including relevant metrics? I understand the blunter characterizations commonly performed for generic/bench top power supplies...

    Buzz on one channel - fixed

    A buzz on one channel has been driving me mad. It only ocurred on the record player and NOT on AUX when playing CDs. I swapped to a different turntable with exactly the same result . Intitally I thought it might be an amplfier switch problem. Logic suggested it could not have been the speakers...
