    Technics PG440 - light blue gunk inside

    I am not the best with electronics so pardon my inexperience. I recently obtained a Technics CD player which was used in the music room of a retirement home for a couple years. It powers up, the laser moves, but it does not detect any discs, no spinning. Inside the dock, there's this blue gunk...
