    Recently I bought a pair of used JBL 4312c in a decent shape. In that seller’s listen room it sounds amazing with tube amp. and yet after I got back to my place, I did found distortion noise on left channel woofer, it feels like the sound being hold back and can’t not perform it it’s best...

    I always wanted a pair of JBL 4312's since I heard them in the studio at my old college radio station and I found a great deal on a pair recently. Right now they're on my floor but I think they should really be on stands. I see that Best Buy sells stands that they say can accommodate the 4312...

    Marantz 2220b and Klipsch Fortes

    Just got this little Marantz 2220b running again a couple of days ago, thanks to the good information I got from researching threads here on AK. I got it adjusted in and tried it out on some cheap test speakers. I gave it a good long test run. It played well and didn't get hot or otherwise...
