JBL 4312 stand recommendations?

I always wanted a pair of JBL 4312's since I heard them in the studio at my old college radio station and I found a great deal on a pair recently. Right now they're on my floor but I think they should really be on stands. I see that Best Buy sells stands that they say can accommodate the 4312 but I thought I might see if you folks had any recommendations?

Until you do get some stands, Cinder blocks work quite well just put some nice material over them

A real, official stand isn't going to be cheap. How are your fabrication and welding skills?
