    Kenwood KA-5700 left VU meter not working. Any ideas?

    Snagged a nice looking KA-5700 from a garage sale for $15. Took it home and found that it sounds great, all inputs work, and all switches/lights function. The only problem is that the left VU meter shows no readings at all. Sound comes through both channels and the balance knob works great...

    I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new to the site and don't know where to look for an answer. I just got a nice, working Kenwood KA-5700 that works completely, but has a burned out bulb. I can get to the bulb easily enough, but can't get it out of the holder. Is it removable...
