    Pioneer A-80 over current protection

    I got it this week and at first it worked well. DC offset is 4mV on one side and 14mV on the other. I checked and set the idle current to 22mV as per the manual. But Then it started going into protection. I checked the idle current and dc offset and it was still ok, so I changed the capacitors...

    A-60 protection circuit fault?

    I got one an A-60 pretty cheap the other day, a bit ruffed up but salvagable. I think it has been a little wet at some stage as there is a bit of rust and some resistors were rusting on their legs. I've replaced the bad looking resistors and powered it on with DBT. All is well and the DBT goes...
