    78 stylus options for Pfanstiehl P-228 cart?

    I've recently acquired a bunch of 78s, so I bought a Pfanstiehl 864-DS73 stylus for the Pfanstiehl P-228 cartridge in my turntable. But seeing now how abrasive antique 78s are, combined with the stylus being sapphire, I reckon the stylus will be worn out before I get through all of the discs...

    Anyone know anything about the brand tonar?

    Looking for a cheap stylus for a stanton 500-II and tonar seems to be the next up from a pfanstiehl which I haven't heard good things about... Anyone know if its any good? (They seem to be selling for around $20ish)
