    Did I blow up?

    I just turned on my Chronus Magnum (I) and the V2 tube (KT120) flickered and lit up purple and the left speaker popped pretty loud (not deafening). I turned it off really quickly and there was some smoke coming from around the tube. I unplugged everything and about 5 minutes later turned it...

    Wharfedale Super Linton / W30D Purple Tweeter Repairable?

    I was listening to them with a Marantz 2220 when 1 of the Tweeters just stopped working. No pop buzz hum or anything they just stopped. The Cap & Resistor tested ok out of circuit but I don't get resistance across the terminals unless I set the MM to 2000MegaOhms so I am fearing the worst. There...

    Pioneer SX-9930 (SX-939) Face plate turned purple

    I have a Pioneer SX-9930 that I acquired a couple years back and it has always had a purple color to the face plate that mixes in with the original black that came with it from the factory... I've cleaned it multiple times and it won't go away. You can even see fingerprints in it that wont come...
