I have a Pioneer SX-9930 that I acquired a couple years back and it has always had a purple color to the face plate that mixes in with the original black that came with it from the factory... I've cleaned it multiple times and it won't go away. You can even see fingerprints in it that wont come off... I'm just really confused and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if I can get it back to the original color (even though it looks pretty cool like this
) Is it a primer layer from when the painted the aluminum black in the factory? Thanks
(The faceplate was JUST cleaned before the photos so all the smudging you see is actually embedded into the aluminum)
