  1. RCA ctc-36

    RCA ctc-36

RCA Ctc-36 from 1971. All tubes except vertical oscillator transistor. It was $45 at the Salvation Army, was playing in the store. Rather expensive, but I do really like RCA. This set is in my kitchen.
  2. RCA 1974 tube b-w

    RCA 1974 tube b-w

RCA tube type 12" b-w from 1974. This is unusual in that it has a detent type UHF tuner.
  3. RCA 1974 b-w and 1950's 8" RCA

    RCA 1974 b-w and 1950's 8" RCA

1974 RCA 16" b-w, works well, and 1950's 8" RCA portable, which works but probably should have new caps.
  4. RCA Lyceum b-w

    RCA Lyceum b-w

A 1974 RCA Lyceum monitor/receiver with large audio/video patch panel on rear and 20' long grounded power cord. This set is made with a standard RCA portable b-w chassis and an isolation transformer for safety. I bought it from my high school for 12.5 cents (got 8 tv's for a dollar.)
  5. RCA CTC-46?

    RCA CTC-46?

I think this may be a ctc-46, can't remember exactly. Please correct me if wrong. I know it is from 1973. I re-wired the power circuits so the picture tube filament shuts off when the power is off (defeated the instant-on).
  6. RCA CTC-52?

    RCA CTC-52?

An RCA 15" tube portable from around 1973. The vertical height tends to decrease as the set warms up. Will have to find the thermal problem.
  7. 14PD9030

    14PD9030

RCA 14PD9030 circa 1957-58 ? An upscale version of the 14PD8055 it uses a transformer and a 5U4 rectifier
  8. rca b/w

    rca b/w

I got this one from a "picker" for 20.00. Very clean and pretty much working.
  9. RCA 5691 red base (6sl7 type)

RCA 5691 red base (6sl7 type)

Here's a set of some RCA reds that I have (I have a few more sets too). These are highly sought after 6sl7 types. I know every system will be different...but I was expecting more from this tube. It sounded alright...but felt like it was a bit muddied thru-out...and had a reduced top and...
