    Pioneer SX-650 issues / Speaker pairing

    I’ve seen other threads on here warning about pairing 4ohm speakers with the 650. It’s currently being serviced and I have to replace the output Ic (SP-40w) that’s causing the protection relay to go off. I have a nice pair of ADS bookshelf speakers from the 70s that are labeled as “nominal 4ohm”...

    Pioneer 636 low volume, clarity right channel

    Picked up a Pioneer 636 at flea market. Sounds good except for a slight decrease in volume and clarity from right speaker (it's as though the treble is turned down, right channel is not as "sharp"). This occurs using CD player plugged into Aux, and with Phono. It sounds fine with headphones...
