    Nakamichi 580M Reel motor issues

    I was given a Nakamichi 580M from a local shop, as it had issues and the original owner was no longer living. so instead of the dump I got it . The basic issue is the reel motor won't activate. play functions: head block comes up pinch rollers engaged but after less than a second it drops back...
