    Removing clear tape from Marantz faceplate

    I have a Marantz faceplate with Scotch clear tape on it. I'm looking for suggestions on removal. Window cleaners hate the stuff, but at least they can scrape it off with a razor. I carefully scratched at it with my thumbnail but it does not budge. I use WD40 to deep clean faceplates that...
