    Help - 1980 Sharp SC-1250 cassette player squeak/squeal (mechanical; not audio)

    I'm new here - was wondering where to start diagnosing a mechanical squeal that accompanys playing a cassette in my Sharp SC-1250. Could grease have dried out (it is 45 yrs old)? Band slippage? It does play the audio fine so it doesn't appear to be in the electronics. Any positive guidance...
