    Vintage TT Advice

    Looking to buy a vintage TT and hoping you all can help me decide between a Thorens TD-146 ($575 with an Ortofon OM-40 cart) and a Technics SL-Q2 ($270 with AT cart). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    Fix for the broken Technics dust cover "hinge tab"

    I recently bought an SL-Q33 with broken dust cover tab. Since I've got a cheap 3D printer at home I made a 3D printable fix that seems to work quite well. Apparently many Technics turntables have the same hinge design, and most of them have the same problem. Thus, I uploaded it to Shapeways...
