    Haven't been able to get a straight answer... SME literature (see attached) specifies the effective mass of many of their tonearms, but it is unclear to me if these figures include the head shell. I feel safe in assuming this is factored in to the models WITHOUT detachable head shells, but...

    Help me troubleshoot a SME 3009 hum issue

    Hello everyone, I have an SME not improved on a TD 124. I get a hum only with a specific cartridge (Ortofon 2M Black). I'gve tried it with a Shure V5 and a Pearl Black and there is no hum.
