    Hello all. I'm back, after a long hiatus. Got sidetracked for I think a decade or so. I picked up this asr-433 from a friend. It's the separate component in "Ox Blood Red" color. It's in nice condition with no dents, etc, except the knobs have discolored with corroded rust in the grooves...

    Help Identifying a Ceramic Capacitor, Please

    I refer to the black ceramic cap center photo. I'm assuming it's 150 pf / mmf. This is in a Stromberg Carlson ASR-444 "Stereo 60." I have a parts list that does not correspond to the S-C schematic. If anyone would sell me a complete S-C service manual for this amp, I'd greatly appreciate that.

    HELP With Stromberg - Carlson Console MOUNTING FRAME for SR-445

    On eBay I bought this mounting frame that is supposed to hold a 445 tuner. Try as I might, I can not see how to get my 445 into this frame. I'm wondering if the face of the 445 has to come off.     I am looking at an old Stromberg-Carlson AR 415 mono amplifier. Apart from a few passing references, I have not found much discussion of Stromberg-Carlson tube amps in this forum. Anyone have any general thoughts? Any favorites? Any dogs? Any specific thoughts on the AR 415?
