    Quad 405 into switched plug on Apt Holman OK?

    I’ve searched this and other forums, there seems to be mixed opinions on this. However, I believe the Quad 405 was always meant to be plugged into a switched outlet on a pre-amp (it has no power switch), and my Apt Holman is rated to a maximum of a Kilowatt soooo... shouldn’t be a danger in...
