    Pioneer sx-1010 which is the better better of the rig preamp or the power amp?

    Not sure if I worded this correctly but if I were to purchase an amp or a preamp which is the better half of this receiver?

    Sx1010 no sound

    My 1010 has quit putting out sound…not even a buzz. It all lights up but no “click” from the protection circuit. Headphone out is also dead. Tuner meters are non responsive. Any suggestions?
