    Pioneer sx 450 won't power on

    I'm having a problem with my pioneer sx450. It's flickering and won't power on. At first everyone said it was the power switch so I tried to clean it but then when I disconnected my speakers I could hear this crackling from the transmitter. I didn't think this was Normal but I wanted to confirm...

    Don’t know where to start with my Pioneer SX-450

    As a beginner, I thought it would be a good idea to start receiver repair with a cheaper model. I found a 450 for free near me that turns on, but has no output. Where should I start with this piece? (I have some experience with soldering, and I have a good soldering gun ready if I decide to recap)
