Pioneer sx 450 won't power on

I'm having a problem with my pioneer sx450. It's flickering and won't power on. At first everyone said it was the power switch so I tried to clean it but then when I disconnected my speakers I could hear this crackling from the transmitter. I didn't think this was Normal but I wanted to confirm before I went further. Here's a video.

I would short the power switch with a jumper, by-passing the AC power switch part. Maybe even use a DBT if I didn't know the history on the receiver.
The power switch part of the selector is on the back of the selector switch and is not easily cleaned without disassembly.
If this sounds like gibberish then wait for a better explanation or take it to someone who knows audio equipment.

How was the power switch "cleaned?" Deoxidizing solution is not the solution. The switch needs to be opened, mechanically cleaned, flushed, and dried. The ultimate solution is to install a power relay to take the load and use the switch to only operate the relay coil.
