tekton mini lore monitor

A friend of mine who's got a brother with way too much hi-fi gear mentioned that this brother might like to unload a pair of these for pretty cheap... maybe just a couple hundred dollars. I'm wondering if I should consider these things? My gear situation is this: I'm using a Marantz 2270...
