threaded hole in heat sink

I have noticed the heat sinks in the C80 & C85 preamps have a threaded hole for a machine screw. My C80 & C85 do not have the screws that secure the sinks to the PC board & they do move a little although the solder connection is fine. I purchased them used so is this normal or has someone...
