    Hey! I found an old Olympic radio and turntable cabinet at an estate sale and bought it for about 40$ it lights up and all the tubes seem to be in working order and not burnt out or without a vaccum, I went to plug it up and the speaker has a very audible hum that I can’t figure out the origin...

    Help! Need advice from the experienced dudes here.

    Bought a 1968 StudioTone vintage cabinet last week (Canadian made) that has a Dual 1009SK TT installed as well as an old receiver that’s seen better days. I’d like to modernize this thing by pulling out the old receiver and replacing it with a mid/late 70’s receiver (Marantz 2200 or similar)...
