    Does anybody know if there's such a thing as a portable headphone amp with virtual surround? Is it even possible?

    I bought a used Denon 2308ci at my goodwill a couple of months ago. As the title of the thread says I can't get CD/Aux inputs to work in either direct or stereo modes, only virtual. I have no idea what that means- does it add some sort of virtual surround sound to the mix when I only want to...
